Enter your rack and the finder lists everything playable, longest and highest scoring first, each word carrying its Scrabble value. The Starts and Ends filters matter more than most people expect: real Scrabble plays hook onto a letter already on the board, so filtering to that letter removes the words you have no room for.
Scores here are raw word values from the standard English tile set. Board multipliers depend on where you put the tiles, so add the double letter, triple letter, double word and triple word squares yourself once you have picked a spot. Blanks are entered as a question mark and score zero, exactly like the real tile.
What are the Scrabble tile values and how many of each tile are there?
A standard English Scrabble set holds 100 tiles worth 187 points of face value between them. The table is the whole distribution: how many of each letter exist in the bag and what each one is worth. It is the reference behind every decision the finder above helps you make, because a tile you will never draw again is a tile worth planning around.

How do you use a Scrabble word finder mid-game?
Type your seven tiles, then add the open letter from the board to the box as an eighth letter. Set Starts or Ends to that letter and the list collapses to plays that actually hook. This is the step most people skip, and it is the difference between a list of theoretical words and a list of moves.
Then read the board before the list. A four-letter word with a Z on a triple letter square usually beats a six-letter word played on plain squares, so scan for the bonus you can reach first and pick the highest-scoring word from the finder that reaches it.
Which Scrabble tiles are worth the most points?
Q and Z are worth 10, J and X are worth 8, and K is worth 5. There is exactly one of each of those tiles in a 100-tile set, so a game contains at most one Q, one Z, one J, one X and one K. The rest of the board is built from cheap, plentiful tiles: twelve E tiles, nine A and nine I, and six each of N, R and T.
The two blanks are worth zero and are still the most valuable tiles in the bag, because they complete the seven-tile play that earns the 50-point bingo bonus. The same logic applies to the four S tiles: an S can pluralise a word already on the board while starting a new one, scoring both at once, which is worth far more than the single point printed on it.
How do you earn the 50-point bingo bonus?
Play all seven tiles from your rack in one turn and Scrabble adds 50 points on top of the word score. That single rule is why rack management matters: a turn that dumps four awkward consonants for eight points can be better than a turn that scores eighteen and leaves you unplayable.
The practical route to a bingo is to keep a workable mix of vowels and consonants, hold on to your S and your blank, and feed the finder your full rack plus one board letter so eight-letter results appear. If nothing comes back, drop the least useful tiles and draw again.
What about words with a Q and no U?
The Q is the tile that strands players, because there is only one U for every Q in the distribution and four U tiles in total. QI, the two-letter word for life force, is the single most useful escape: 11 points before any multiplier, and it fits almost anywhere on a crowded board.

Frequently asked questions
Is QI a valid Scrabble word?
Yes. QI is the most useful two-letter word in Scrabble because it plays a Q without needing a U. It is worth 11 points before any board multiplier, since Q is worth 10 and I is worth 1.
How is a Scrabble score calculated?
Add the value printed on each tile in the word. Letter multipliers apply to the individual tile, then word multipliers apply to the whole word, and both only count on the turn the tile is first placed. Playing all seven tiles in one turn adds a further 50 points.
How many tiles are in a Scrabble set?
100 in the standard English set: 98 letter tiles plus 2 blanks. E is the most common at twelve tiles, and there is only one each of J, K, Q, X and Z.
Can I search with a blank tile?
Yes. Type a question mark for each blank and the finder tries every letter in that position. Blanks score zero points, so use them for length and for reaching the 50-point bingo bonus rather than for raw tile value.
Does the finder know about double and triple word squares?
No, and no honest finder can, because the bonus depends on where you place the tiles. The scores shown are raw word values. Pick your square first, then choose the highest-scoring word from the list that reaches it.
Are all these words valid in tournament Scrabble?
Not necessarily. Unscrambly searches a large open English word list. Official play uses TWL in North America and Collins elsewhere, and the two disagree on thousands of words, so check your house dictionary for anything unusual.
What is the highest-scoring Scrabble word?
That depends on the board, not just the word, because multipliers can several-fold a play. On raw tile value alone, words stacking Z, Q, J and X tiles score the most. The reference page lists the top hundred short words by raw Scrabble value.
