Each result shows its Scrabble score using standard tile values, so you can weigh a short high-value play against a longer one. Blanks are supported with the question mark, and they count as zero points, exactly like the real tile.
Letter value tactics
The highest raw score is not always the best play. A short word that drops a Z or Q on a triple-letter square often beats a longer word played on plain tiles. Look at where the bonus squares sit before you commit, then use the finder to see which words reach them.
Guard your S tiles and your blank. An S can turn an existing word plural while building a second word across it, effectively scoring twice, so spending it on an ordinary play is usually a waste. The same goes for the blank, which is worth far more as the last tile of a bingo than as a mid-game filler.
Playing off the board
Real racks rarely make a word on their own; you play through a letter already on the board. Set the Starts or Ends filter to that letter and the finder shows only the words that will actually fit the open space, which saves you scanning a list of plays you cannot make.
Keep a balanced rack for next turn. If two plays score about the same, prefer the one that leaves you a workable mix of vowels and consonants rather than, say, four vowels and a Q, which is hard to unload.

Frequently asked questions
Is QI a valid Scrabble word?
Yes. QI is one of the most useful two-letter words in Scrabble because it lets you play a Q without needing a U. It is worth 11 points before any bonus squares.
How is the Scrabble score calculated?
Each letter has a fixed point value, from 1 for common letters like E and A up to 10 for Q and Z. The finder adds those values for every word. Board bonuses like double and triple squares are applied on top when you play.
Can I search with a blank tile?
Yes. Type a question mark for each blank. The solver tries every letter in that position and shows the words you can build. Blanks score zero points.
