Wordle Solver and Helper
This helper takes what you already know from your Wordle guesses (green letters in their spot, yellow letters that appear somewhere, and grey letters that are out) and lists the five-letter words that still fit. It narrows a wide field down to a short, sensible list.
Green letters (correct spot)
Leave a box empty if you do not know that position yet. Add yellow letters under Contains and grey letters under Not in word.
It is built to assist, not to spoil. Use it when you are stuck on the last guess or two, and treat the results as candidates rather than a single answer. The tool never sends your guesses anywhere; everything is worked out in your browser.
Feeding in your clues
After a guess or two you know three kinds of clue: green letters locked to a position, yellow letters that belong somewhere else, and grey letters that are out. Enter the greens in their slots, list the yellows as letters that must appear, and mark the greys as excluded. The helper then lists only the five-letter words that satisfy every clue at once.
Choosing your next guess
When several candidates remain, do not just play the first one. Prefer a word that tests common untried letters, since even a guess you expect to be wrong can eliminate several options and leave you a near-certain answer next turn. Keep double letters in mind: if a green and a yellow are the same letter, the answer repeats it.
Use the helper as a nudge rather than a spoiler. Narrowing the field to a handful of words still leaves the satisfying part, choosing between them, to you.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Wordle helper work?
You enter the green letters in their known positions, the yellow letters that must appear somewhere, and the grey letters to exclude. The helper then lists every five-letter word that satisfies all of those clues.
Is using a Wordle helper cheating?
That is up to you. Many players use it only when stuck, or to learn new five-letter words for next time. The tool is designed as a nudge, showing a filtered list rather than handing over one answer.
Does it work for six-letter variants?
The main helper is tuned for standard five-letter Wordle. For other lengths, the words-with-letters tool with a length filter covers the same ground.
